I was sitting in my room, all by myself, with no one to hang around, my demureness was the reason for that. But it had its benefits also, instead of looking at the outer world, I was able to look into my inner world. The room was disheveled, as I was indolent. Or may be I liked the things in the way they were, I somehow saw peace in the disorder of nature, which others didn’t comprehend. Contrary to the outer world, my inner world was impeccable.
As I entered my inner world, I saw a dusky green forest, I was flabbergasted to see the view. The gigantic trees and the small leaves were dancing in ecstasy on the tunes of the wind. That inner world was related to the outer world, because it was my imagination which created it. And that imagination was build from all my external experiences. The only difference being the peace, the serenity of my inner world was not there in the outer world. How did I imagined it when I never experienced it before? The question was perplexing.
The enmity which I had for the outer world was dying, I was elated. I moved further in that forest, my intrepidness was surprising. I sat under a tree, and just was witnessing everything around, my meticulousness was in the active mode. I focused my attention on a drop of water. Which was just about to climb from the highest leaf. It tried to stay there, but some things are bound to happen. It was falling with dignity, it seemed that every single branch of that tree saluted that drop for its valor.
It finally reached its destination, the ground. Where it was now, I wondered. It was scattered on the sand at first, and a little later, there was only sand. The goal of that drop was to immerse itself in the nature, it had no identity of itself. But when I saw the whole view, I realized the importance and identity of that little drop, only when it selflessly mingled with the nature.
Who am I ? I always wondered. My outer world never gave me any answer. My curiosity would have died, but my loneliness gave me the reason to look into my inner world, which made me realize that my identity doesn’t matter, I was just a part like that little drop, I just had to immerse myself in the nature and be one with it.
The strangest part was that every answer that I needed in the outer world was present in the inner world, it was just waiting for my curiosity to reach its zenith.
